I stared at my open laptop. My head was spinning and it was one of the most uneasy feelings I’ve ever felt. That feeling like I’m drowning in a deep sea of to-do lists, emails, client meetings, grocery lists, laundry, and on and on and on.
As if things couldn’t get worse, more and more obligations were being slopped on my plate. Like when you go through the create-your-own-pasta line and get too greedy with the chicken alfredo. But you’ve already piled it high and there’s no turning back now.
I started experiencing chest pain and anxiety. I started getting sick all the time with sinus infections and digestion issues. I realized that I HAD to stop this. Taking care of myself is not an option. It’s a necessity. For my family, for my clients, for me. And I finally found all the products I needed to give a balance of my time and energy without losing my mind.
Now, I can say Yes to Less with confidence, without feeling guilty. I can shut my laptop and be fully present in the moments with my friends and family. When I’m in hustle-mode, I can focus and get everything done with flying colors.
